Sledding

Today was the first big snow of the winter. i was supposed to go in for jury duty because I was on a trial but I was sound in. So I excused from jury duty and had a snow day from school. So Rylinn and I decided to go sledding. She didn't enjoy the snow at first but enjoyed the being pulled on the sled. However her snow suit is a little small and makes it hard for her to sit up. she kept falling backwards. She enjoyed going fast down the drive way.

The Box

Rylinn's aunt sent a box of books to us. Rylinn has enjoyed taking the books out of the box and put them all over the floor. Today she started to take the books out I didn't really pay attention. All of the sudden she got quiet and the books stop moving. I looked over and she is sitting in the box reading a book. After she was done reading she decided to push the box around and sit on. Then she adventured into the kitchen and used the box as a step to get to the counter.

Thanksgiving

We went to the Bay Area to visit family for Thanksgiving. We had a fun time visiting with family. Michael had the flu for the weekend and this weekend Rylinn and I have the flu. We visited Great-Grandma with the cousins and walked up a down the halls hanging on to Great- grandma s walker. Rylinn also had a great time hanging with grandma and playing with her toys. We were able to visit some friends in Santa Cruz and we able to put three car seats in our car. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Walk

Tonight the weather has been cold a rainy but Rylinn enjoys going on walks with her dad and dog. So we bundled her and put her in the stroller and enjoyed the warm walk.

Halloween

Rylinn was a SF Giant foam finger for Halloween ( Mike made the costume). she came to my school parade and was taking in all the kids. She enjoyed watching their parade. That we had an doctors appt. for her for her shots. she doesn't do well with the shots at all. The last shots she got she got a 103+ fever for a couple days. So we knew that it would be a mellow night. We just went to a friends and knocked on the door. That was enough for her. Her are some pictures of her on Halloween.

1st Halloween Party

In our small town one of the family's from my class invited us to crave pumpkins. It turned out that half of my class was there. That was fun to see them out side of school. They all love Rylinn and enjoy playing with her. She loves them too. One of my parents went to take a picture of her and she slide back into this kid for protection so he posed with her for the photo. We have more pictures of her costume we will have to post once we have them in digital form

Rylinn's Birthday

July 18th Rylinn turned one and it was a fun day. We had a pool party with some of the kids from my class and kids in PMC with cupcakes. Rylinn enjoyed swimming with her dad and friends in the pool. After the pool we went home for a quick lunch and head to SC for a party with our family in SC and friends. Rylinn enjoyed her cupcakes, and the gifts she got. We have enjoyed a great year with her she is a lot fun and keeps us on our toes.
She is crawling everywhere and pulling her self up. she is starting to climb on everything and holding on with just one hand. Rylinn really enjoys the pool.
